Seattle: The U District, Washington Uni

Seattle and Washington in particular is known as the evergreen state. It doesn't take long to figure out why. It is deliciously green the lovely trees and the ivy kreeping up equally lovely old buildings are everpresent reminders. Today we did a huge work through down to Portage Bay admired all the beautiful art deco buildings and cobblestoned streets and then went to Washington Uni and the natural history museum. Amazing! We also checked out Pike's Place market- which made me drool so much fresh produce and incredible fish. I could really settle in seattle, it's so vibrant, relaxed and liveable.
